A partner confesses something that cracks the foundation of trust. A throuple unravels as one partner prioritizes themselves over the others. Casual interest turns to rejection for two text messaging-ing daters. A marriage is stuck between hard work and letting go.

Time passes. A mysterious invitation arrives. There is a party.

What was once painful now becomes a catalyst for learning, growth, and the reforming of relationships into friendships, family, communities and unique parts of each other's stories. 

Created improvisationally and collaboratively, Separation Celebration invites us into intimate conflict, separations of relationships of all kinds, and makes visible space for our broken hearts. It imagines a future where these broken hearts not only heal but grow stronger in celebration and love.
